Exciting News: Our Blog Journey Continues at The Bible Briefs!

As we all know, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" Hebrews 13:8 (ESV). However, in our sanctification journey, we must change as Jesus draws us closer to Himself. We can't remain in our comfort zone and expect to mature as Christians. So I have exciting news! This blog journey will continue at our new website, The Bible Briefs.

The Bible Briefs will be unique in focusing on the "lost," seekers, and believers with more questions than answers. See the Welcome page. Many excellent websites target those who are strong in the faith, but far fewer seek out those at the margins of society (and in the church).

God is leading me to this underserved population. My prayer is that you will join me! It won't be easy, but I have faith that God's Word is true, as spoken through the Apostle Paul:

"No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1st Corinthians 10:13 (ESV)

I offer this verse because, in my day-to-day evangelism, I find it challenging to immerse myself in the world without being pulled back into it. Yes, the "old man is gone," but he's not forgotten. I'm still a sinner, which means I can relate well to the seeker population.

Off The Bench Ministries' mission and purpose will remain, and the website will be updated as needed. But I'm excited to see where God leads with The Bible Briefs. If you are interested, check out the first blog post, "Why Are We Here?" I hope to see you there! God bless!
