God Grants Success in Mulligans

If you have played casual golf, you know that a “Mulligan” is a “do-over.” It is a way of trying to correct the mistake you made on the last shot.

I believe God grants Mulligans. But, more importantly, I believe God grants success in Mulligans!

I’ve heard many Christians say that success and prosperity are bad. But the Bible contains verses dealing with success and prosperity as blessings.

If we focus on God first--NOT second--then success and prosperity appear to be by-products of our relationship with God.

Here are just a few examples from scripture about success and prosperity:

“the Lord had blessed Abraham in every way.” Genesis 24:1

Daniel enjoyed success….” Daniel 6:28

“...and He will make his ways successful.” Isaiah 48:15

“His ways Prosper at all times”... Psalms 10:5

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.” Joshua 1:8

“The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered. Proverbs 11:25

Are you ready to take a Mulligan, make God first, and receive His blessings? Good! Don’t forget to read Christian Golf: Play it Where it Lies.
