Your Divine Appointment is Waiting: Are You Ready?
Divine Appointments present themselves in many different forms. Some are the people, places, and things that just “show up” unexpectedly. They are the “coincidences” that defy probability. You just know that God was responsible for such perfect timing.
Others are Divine Appointments that you have been praying for, many for so long that you had almost given up hope. Your faith was failing, and so was your strength to continue. Some may even consider suicide as a way out.
But again, despite the impossible odds, God shows up in the final moment...the last sigh of resignation...to save the day!
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5
What’s the takeaway here? The key is that you are ready!
You were aligned with God so you could discern a Divine Appointment from a worldly one that leads to the pits. You were listening with an ear to the Holy Spirit.
Is your Divine Appointment scheduled for the lake, a beach, a desert valley, a high mountain plateau, or ???? You will know. Be there!
Is He telling you to write encouraging words for Him, photograph beautiful images of His creations, and create inspiring videos that provide hope? Is He the Supreme Ultimate Director as you sing and act at venues worldwide?
We only miss Divine Appointments when we fail to trust and glorify God. So don’t miss the boat because you were stiff-necked! I’ve missed many Divine Appointments. He was there, I wasn’t!
Perhaps someone has a Divine Appointment with Jesus Himself. Has He been calling out to you? Have you been reluctant to meet Him on His terms? Jesus said
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me." Revelation 3:20
Are you ready? I’ll be praying that you keep your Divine Appointment. God will not disappoint you!
